Blogger: How To Start A blog?

Applying For A Gmail Account:

Starting a blog with Blogger.com, Which is the same as blogspot, is easy.  First you need to have a Gmail account  You can go to gmail.com and sign up for an account if you do not have one yet.

Fill out the info needed for Google to have a Gmail account.

Once you have a Gmail Account, you have access to every app or service offered by Google such as Blogger.com, Gmail, Analytics, Keyword Tool, and so on...

Signing In To Blogger

Now Go to Blogger.com and Sign in with your Gmail account.

Creating A New Blog:

Once you sign in to Blogger, you are taken to Blogger Dashboard.

Since you have just signed up with google, you have no blogs.  Click on New Blog To start the process of starting a Blog with Blogger.

Now You are to choose your:

1. Blog Title
2. Blog Address
3. And Blog Template

For example:
Blog Title: Blog With Blogger Tips
Blog Address: blogwithbloggertips.blogspot.com
Choosing Template:  You click on the design that suit your blog, go through the selection and pick one.  Note that you can always change the blog template to another one or to a template you buy or download for free.

When choosing a blog address try to choose an address with your keyword in it and it must be available with Blogger. It will indicate if the blog address is available or not. If not try another.

Now Click on Create Blog.  You will be taken To Blogger Dashboard.

Look Beside My Blogs to see your Blog Name: "How To Blog With Blogger"
Click View Blog to take a look at your new blog

Well Done.  Time to Start Posting
